Glow Fitness continuing to glow for the local community

Members of the Glow Team from Glow Life Fitness in Selkirk, Man., embark on a fitness field trip each month as a way to promote physical activity as a group.

According to Glow Fitness, is it a great way to boost morale among staff at the local fitness centre while creating a team bonding atmosphere.

This past weekend, members of the Glow Fitness used their fitness field trip as a way to raise funds for the Terry Fox Foundation. Members tackled the Pine Point Trail in the Whiteshell Provincial Park on Sept. 20. By the end of the hike, the Glow Fitness Team was able to clock nine kilometres for their fitness journey.

“We decided to form a Terry Fox Run Team and began fundraising! With a goal of raising $100 for cancer research, we surpassed that with a whopping $500,” said a representative from Glow Fitness. “We loved our fun group trip, especially this time of year-it was so beautiful in the Fall with the colour changes and different Terrain in the Whiteshell. We also packed a picnic lunch and spent the day out there.”
