Santa Parade in Selkirk cancelled for 2021

The Selkirk Biz announced the cancellation of the 2021 Santa Parade in Selkirk due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 15th Annual Santa Parade of Lights was planned for November 19th. In light of the ongoing public health concerns and being able to work out the logistics to bring the community a safe event, the Selkirk Biz executive decided the best option was to keep the business community and the public safe.

“We hope in the coming year, a safe format will be worked out and the parade will be back next November,” a prepared statement read.

Holiday Alley are still making plans for Nov. 19 to 30.
