everyone, I wanted to send each of you a warm welcome to my site and share a bit of my wellness story with you.
Six years ago, I was going through an emotionally draining separation and divorce, learning how to navigate life as a single mom with two young children, a single income earner and coping with a mentally draining career. At the end of the day, I was barely surviving, beyond exhausted and so discounted from my higher self. I remember laying in bed one night begging whatever high power was out there for something to heal my body, my mind and my spirit.
The solution showed up one day in these little brown bottles of dōTERRA essential oils that smelled like nothing I had ever experienced. They gave me hope again and so I ordered myself a big kit full of different blends for mood, focus, immune and digestive support and started using them on myself and my boys. I saw results immediately! I wanted all my friends and family to benefit from these beautiful tools too and before I knew it I had a big circle of friends and colleagues trusting my recommendation and they were seeing big progress in their well-being.
Next, I was inspired to share wellness opportunities at my property and women started coming one by one and then in groups and we formed these beautiful wellness retreats using oil treatments, meditations and soul enhancing activities. Leaders emerged and wanted to serve as well. It was so life giving and felt so good to empower others this way. I knew I had to retire from my career and run my dōTERRA business full time.
I met my perfect match, Danny who has been my greatest supporter over the last four years. He has been the strength behind Peaceful Poplar as it now emerges into a private health spa to serve those in need and maintenance of self care and self love in a safe and small intimate setting.
